SIX HORSE HOT WALKER MODEL 600

The overall structural design of the 6 Horse Centaur Hot Walker consists of a 8 5/8" X 1/4" wall vertical upright shaft which has a chain drive reduction of 5 to 1. We use 100 chain with 1 1/4" pitch.

The four support structures are made of 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 1/4" heavy walled angle steel. The base legs are made of 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" square steel (1/4" thick walls). The arms are 20’ long and are made of 3"X3" 2 1/2"X 2 ½" tubing (1/4" thick walls) with a quick release mechanism on each arm with a lead attachment for your horse. The walking diameter is 40 feet. Optional Upgrade to 60 feet.

The drive system is powered by a 2 H.P. motor, single phase 220 Volt. The speed of the walker is controlled by using our remote control panel. An infinite range of speeds can be reached by simply adjusting the dial on the control panel. The Hot Walker can go forward and reverse. The speeds can vary from a slow walk to a gallop or canter. 

The walker is designed so that the main drive belts will slip at a predetermined amount of pull. The operator can change the amount of pull from practically zero up to almost 400 pounds. The arms are approximately 9’6" above the ground which tends to minimize the problem of a rearing horse. The entire drive system is housed in a steel cover of 18 gauge. You have 20 colors to choose from. The unit is designed with your horse’s safety in mind.

FREE FLOW (TM) EXERCISER, REPLACES THE OLD STYLE HOT WALKING MACHINES OR THE NEED FOR HAND WALKING

Keeping your stallions in shape for breeding season. Excellent for conditioning horses for sales, from weanlings on up. Conditioning two year olds prior to sending them into training. Exercising broodmares for their health as well as the health of their unborn foals. The EXERCISER can also be used for warning horses up prior to exercise and cooling down after exercise. Horses can be placed into the FREE FLOW (TM) wearing complete Bitting Rigs to aid in their development.

 The FREE FLOW (TM) EXERCISER comes with a variable speed, reversible drive control that will allow the EXERCISER to go from a slow walk up to a slow gallop and enables the exercising of 3, 6, 8, or 10 horses at one time. The horses exercise untethered between moving gates spanning thirty-one feet. These hinged gates move in between two round fences that are nearly eight feet apart.

Centaur can do all the necessary electrical and concrete work for the exerciser, to save the extra charge, the machines can be installed by the purchasers and wired by their own electrician. CENTAUR HORSE WALKERS, INC., Provides plans for the concrete pad on which the base of the EXERCISER is bolted plus complete installation instructions. You can either have us install the fence panels, or you may do it yourself. You can purchase the FREE FLOW (TM) unit without the fences if you like, or we can custom design fences for you, other than what we offer.

Power Drive System:	The Exerciser is a direct drive electrical motor to a speed reduction gearbox. The motors are 3 HP or 5 HP, depending on exercise model. All motors are hi-torque, heavy duty, thermally protected with auto reset. The unit requires a power input of 220 volt single phase.
Remote Controller:	All of the exercisers come with a remote control unit, with a directional control switch, forward & reverse and an emergency stop switch.
Enclosure Panels:	Standard is 7 ft tall, and 8 ft long outside panels, inside panels are 7 ft. tall and 8 ft. long. Galvanized welded wire, which is welded to panel frame, and is 6ft. in height, with spring loaded latches on each gate panel. The framework is 1 7/8" round galvanized steel pipe.
Finish on Fence:	The standard steel framework of the fence panels comes galvanized. The framework is of round tubing, with welded wire attached , on the lower 6 feet.
Options Include:	A timer, a pressure sensitive shut down controller that turns unit off when it resists 100 pounds, at the end of the arms.  Rubber lined panels on the lower 2 ½ feet attached to each panel for soil retention.  Radius fencing galvanized or painted.
Panels & Drive System:	Lower 4¢ X 8¢ section solid steel, or steel & wood laminated, or wood (tongue & grove) Tor 1-11 & steel laminated. All panels can be lined with rubber matting on the lower 2 ½ feet, to aid in soil rentention.

Electrical Controls MUST BE installed by a licensed Electrician to warranty the product.

All Free Flow Products come with an easy to read, easy to use, installation manual, so that you many install it yourself, or hire someone else to do the installation for you.
