The Guitron family has a long tradition of braiding quality rawhide and leather tack in the spirit of the Vaqueros for nearly 50 years.
Through the years, our selection of products has grown to include a full array of
meticulously handcrafted tack made from fine leather
and rawhide. Guitron's
Custom Rawhide
ROMAL REINS, which have become synonymous with winning riders, are constructed using methods handed down through
the generations. Each rawhide strand is cut for braiding, whether for a 12-plait or 16-plait braid, is beveled on both sides for a
smooth, comfortable feel on the reins and romal. For the many years
they have been braiding romals they've yet to have one returned
for poor workmanship. Guitron's
Custom Rawhide
can make you any length rein and romal, change button designs and silver patterns or give extra weight at
the end of your reins. Often times they have constructed romals from a photo or picture.

Guitron's Custom Rawhide romals is hard to beat! If you ever break a rawhide connector for any reason,
just send us them complete romal and they will build a new connector and put it on the reins at a cost to
you of only $15.00 per connector plus shipping. Even if the romals are fifty years old,

Guitron's Custom Rawhide BOSALS are crafted using a rawhide core. The rawhide core has been dried in the sun for an
easily shaped bosal that has good action in the nose and cheeks. They are braided for a perfect fit for
the Quarter horse, Paint horse and can be made in Arab sizes.
Guitron's Custom Rawhide offer a wide variety of color
combinations with the most popular being an all-natural rawhide with a black or chocolate decorated
nose and heel knot.
Their 16-plait show bosals are 16-plait on the cheeks with a 24-plait nose and a pear shaped heel knot
for the distinct show look. Their MECATES are made from 100% mane hair using a 6-strand twist,
including a mane hair core. Guitron's Custom
Rawhide offer a variety of color combinations that are both pleasing to the eye
and supple in the hand.
HEADSTALLS are built using the finest bridle leathers and are available in light or dark tones. A
recent addition to their line is the Old California harness leather, which is popular with reiners and
cutters. Guitron's Custom Rawhide use sterling silver overlay for our buckles and
